Nick’s Famous Roast Beef has been serving classic North Shore roast beef to the Beverly community since 1975.
Founded by Nick Markos and Nick Koudanis, Nick’s began as a simple neighborhood sandwich shop built around one idea: do roast beef right, and do it the same way every time.
The Name & The Tradition
The name “Nick’s Famous Roast Beef” is as straightforward as the shop itself. It comes from its two founders, and the word “famous” reflected the confidence in what they were building.
As generations of customers kept coming back for the same sandwich, the name began to carry real weight. It came to represent familiarity, consistency, and a place you could count on.

After 50 years of incredible moments and memories, Nick’s transitioned to new owners.
